In order to improve child nutrition by identifying the nutritional needs of pre-school children, the Samurdhi Development Department targeted pre-school children at the "Flower Kids" model pre-school in Kuruduwatta Grama Niladhari Domain of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division in conjunction with the program which implemented nutrition programs throughout the island based on the International Day for Eradication of Poverty. Lunch is provided for the children on the last seventeen days (17).
This program was organized under the leadership of Kuruduwatta Samurdhi Development Officer Mr. Kumara Ranjith with the support of community praja moola organization officials.
