A subsidy distribution program for the children of 40 selected vulnerable families was held on 11.11.2022 at the auditorium of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat.
This program was conducted with the aim of uplifting the families of children who have lost either their mother or father or both, and to help them in their nutritional and educational needs.
"Humedica Lanka", a child welfare organization, sponsored the program.
Also, for the mental health of the children, children's social children and Mrs. Sujani Hettiarachchi, who works at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, also included the enjoyable aspects.
This program was organized by the Child Rights Promotion Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat on the instructions of the Divisional Secretary.
