An awareness program on drug prevention was held on 24.11.2022 at Damseth Vidyalaya, Jaltara.
The parents of the children of that school participated in this and were informed about the importance and methods of maintaining good parent-child relationship for drug prevention. On this day, volunteer members were also recruited to identify vulnerable families in the division.
This program is coordinated by Homagama Divisional Secretariat Development Officer (Local Medical), Ms G.V. Nilanti and supported by Ms Gishani Umenga, Drug Prevention Treatment Rehabilitation Development Officer.
