This program was held on 30-11-2022 at his residence in Habarakada, Homagama, reflecting on the great contribution he made to Sri Lankan art.
Organized by the Homagama Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of the Department of Cultural Affairs, this program was conducted under the leadership of the Homagama Divisional Secretary and headed by the Assistant Regional Secretary.
Mr. Neil Alas showed an excellent acting personality as "Chute" in the drama Kelani Palama and in well-known stage plays like Dhavalabhishana, Adirale Nadagama, Tarao Igilethi, Thala Mala Pipila, Gajaman Putavata etc. He is an artist who gained popularity not only through TV dramas like Doo Daruyo.
He, who is currently spending his time away from his artistic activities, in a relaxing and healthy way, expressed his gratitude to the people who came here to inquire about his well-being.
Dry food items were also presented to Mr. Neil Alas under the auspices of the Department of Cultural Affairs.
Assistant Divisional Secretary, Cultural Officers, Village Officer, Development Officer and Samurdhi Development Officer of Habarakada Watta Division participated in this program organized by the Cultural Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat.
