Homagama Divisional Secretariat DivisionThe final program of the Punya Grama program, which has been in operation since 2018, centered on Kiriwatthuduwa Purana Viharaya, was held on 11-12-2022 at Kiriwatthuduwa Purana Viharaya.
A leadership training program for Dhamma school children and a program to educate parents about saving children from using drugs were held here with the aim of building a good religion for a better tomorrow.
Resources for this were provided by Lieutenant Colonel M.D.K.S.Mayadunna of the Economic, Social and Welfare Coordination Office of the Rehabilitated, Mr. Supun Udara, Coordinator of the Dangerous Drugs Control Board and Ms. Himali Katugampala, Conciliation Officer of the Divisional Secretariat.
Under the guidance of the Homagama Divisional Secretary, the Office Buddhist Coordinating Officers organized this program and the Development Officer of Kiriwatthuduwa North Domain, Sunday school children and parents participated in this.
