A community awareness program was conducted on 16.12.2022 in Siddhamulla North division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division.
There, the community was made aware of the importance of a women's union, the importance of a woman's role, and the effect of a woman's behavior and attitudes on the success of the family.
Here, with the aim of reducing the current economic hardships for women, a training program was conducted in textile production with market demand, with the aim of introducing alternative sources of income.
Organized by the Economic Development Officer of the domain, the coordination of this program was carried out by the Vanita Development Officer and the Vanita Development Field Assistant.
