A training program and awareness program for women in Panagoda West Village Officer division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was conducted on 20.01.2023 at Seva Piyasa.
With the aim of introducing alternative ways of generating income for the existing economic difficulties, women were informed about a textile production training program and "how to be encouraged and creative as an entrepreneur?"
Also, along with the objectives of the women's work organization, necessary instructions were given to organize the monthly fair for the economic advancement of the members.
Organized by Economic Development Officer and Women's Task Force Officers, this program was coordinated by Vanita Development Officer and Vanita Development Field Assistant.
