A community awareness program was held in Kahathuduwa North Grama Niladhari division on mediation process and effectiveness on 27-08-2023 at the community hall premises of that division.
Here, the importance of optimistically looking at the problems arising in oneself, the family and the society from a broad perspective, the value of maintaining a free and clear mind full of contentment, practical activities and the mediation process and dispute settlement were made aware online.
Also, along with this, raising the standard of living in household productivity, thrift and community awareness of gardening.
Village Development Officer, Grama Niladhari Officer, Economic Development Officer participated in this program targeting members of Kahathuduwa North Village Development Society and women's society members.
About 65 beneficiaries participated in this program which was coordinated by Rural Development Officer Mr. Prabhat Devapriya and resourcefulness was provided by Office Conciliation Officer Mrs. Himali Katugampala and Productivity Officer Mrs. Kamani Dias.
