The monthly fair was conducted by the women's work organizations operating in Mavatgama, Homagama East and Mullegama South Village Officer Divisions of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division.
The aim of this program was to economically empower the women community in the existing economic situation by generating alternative sources of income for women.
These programs were organized by the women's work organization officers in the respective divisions, and the planning and supervision of the program was carried out by the women's development officer, women's development field assistant.
