The Colombo District Inauguration Ceremony of the Basic Certificate Course on "Productivity and Innovation" organized by the National Productivity Secretariat for school students was held on 10/04/2023 at the main hall of Subharathi Mahamatya Vidyalaya, Godagama, Homagama.
This program was organized with the objectives of bringing the concept of productivity to the children and thereby creating more productivity in the children.
Subharathi Mahamatya College, which won the first place in the school category in the National Productivity Awards in 2020, was selected for this purpose, and the program was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Suranga Gunaratne, Director of the National Productivity Secretariat and Director General of the National Institute of Labor Studies.
Homagama Divisional Secretary, Homagama Zonal Education Director,Deputy Director of National Productivity Secretariat, Deputy Director of Homagama Regional Education Office, Principal of Subharathi Mahamatya College, Chief Teaching Staff, Colombo District Productivity Officers and Chief Students participated in this event.
The program was organized by the Office Productivity Development Division on the guidance of the Homagama Divisional Secretary.
