In conjunction with the International Poverty Eradication Day of October 17th, the Samurdhi Development Department, during the week of October 17th to October 23rd, under the implementation of Samurdhi programs, on the occasion of October 18th named "Entrepreneurship Development Day", the products of the members of Homagama "Ekamuthu" Entrepreneurial Forum. In order to provide marketing opportunities, the entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to sell their products in the stalls established in the premises of the Divisional Secretariat.
These stalls are supervised by Colombo District Prosperity Director A.G.S. Ashoka Kumar, Assistant Director (Social Development) of Samurdhi Development Department, E.V.U. Mr. Pushpakumara and Samurdhi Managers of the Social Development Department of the Samurdhi Development Department, Eta Ilesinghe, Vajira Jayathilaka, Dayani Navaratne, Social Development Manager of the Colombo District Secretariat, Gopika Palliaguru and other officials were supervised.
Samurdhi Bank Association Manager P.S Wevelwala, Headquarters Samurdhi Manager T.G Sriani, Project Manager Shanika Dias, Project Assistant Renuka Jayasuriya and Development Officer (Sales) Harshana Hevage also joined this event.
This was organized by the Project Division of Samurdhi Praja Moola Bank Samithi on the advice and guidance of the Divisional Secretary Mr. B. A. D. Chinthaka.
