The program to educate government officials about the concept of conciliation and the legal aspects of conciliation board work and concurrently the establishment of co-existence committees in Uduwana Grama Niladhari Domain was held on 21-10-2023 at Uduwana Seva Piyasa premises.
The aim of this program was to educate public officials about the concept of conciliation and the work of the conciliation board, thereby popularizing the conciliation process among the people and thereby providing relief to the community.
Through this program coordinated by the economic development officer of Uduwana village domain, government officials including village service officer, prosperity development officer, economic development officer and other government officials of that domain were informed about the mediation work and its legal background and gathered the community of Uduwana domain and appointed the officers for coexistence committees. An initial awareness was conducted.
