The Western Province Athletics Festival, organized with the support of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat and under the initiative of the Western Province Sports Ministry, was held on July 12 and 13, 2025 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium, Diyagama.
Athletes from Colombo/Kalutara/Gampaha District 3 participated in this. The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of the Secretary to the Western Province Sports Ministry and Homagama Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D.Chinthaka and the Director of School Sports of the Western Province, Mr. S.D. Thewarapperuma, Director of Sports of the Western Province, participated as guests.
