A Shramadan was held in Jalthara Grama Niladhari Division on 20.07.2025 in conjunction with the Clean Sri Lanka program with the aim of controlling chicken pox and dengue diseases.
The Jalthara Kekulan Lake Road, Mankada Road and Batewela Road were cleaned. To make these activities successful, many government officials and volunteer leaders as well as social activists took the lead.
All these activities were coordinated and organized by Mr. Krishan Munasinghe, Development Officer in Charge of Jalthara Grama Niladhari Division.
