The Homagama Youth Society Regional Board and Election was held on 20th July 2025 at the B.P./Ho/ Central College Theatre.
Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Mr.Eranda Gunasekara, Member of Parliament Mr. Anura Panagoda, Chairman of Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha Mr.Kasun Ratnayake, Homagama Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D.Chinthaka, Deputy Director Planning Mr.Nilanka N.Sampath, Chairman of the National Youth Services Council Mr. Supun Wijeratne, Deputy Director of the National Youth Services Council Ms.Kumuduni Dissanayake, Assistant Director of the National Youth Services Council Colombo District Mr.Sumith Galoluwa and District Youth Services Officer Mr. Gamini Balasuriya and many other key officials participated in this event.
About 340 young people participated in this event, and Mr. Sithira Ederage was elected as the President of the Youth Society Regional Board, Ms.Thanuja Dissanayake, the Office Youth Services Officer by virtue of office, for the post of Secretary, Mr.Nadeeja Prathibhana for the post of Treasurer, Mr.Lakindu Waruna as the Organizer, Mr.Sudheera Isuru for the post of Vice President, and Mr.Pubudu Handapangoda for the post of Under Secretary.
This event was organized by the office's Youth Services Officer under the guidance and supervision of the Divisional Secretary.
