A candle production training program targeting marginalized families in Rilawala Grama Niladhari Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat was conducted on 2025.08.07 at the Rilawala Community Hall.
This program, which was conducted targeting 26 beneficiaries who wanted to engage in candle production as self-employment with the aim of adding additional income to marginalized families and strengthening them economically, was supported by the Field Coordinator of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, Mr. Chaminda Samaramanne, and the program was organized and coordinated by the government officials attached to the division as per the instructions and guidance of the Divisional Secretary.
