Homagama.The Blood Donation Camp organized by the Homagama Youth Club Regional Federation and the Fifth Youth Parliament was held recently (2021.05.30) at the Sunil Perumbuli Hall, Wilfred Senanayake Stadium, Homagama.
More than 150 blood donors came to donate blood today and the blood of 121 people was obtained.
Under the coordination of Ayurvedic Development Officer G.V.Nilanthi, arrangements were made to provide a local medicinal plant to all blood donors.
Mr.B.A.D.Chinthaka, Divisional Secretary, Homagama, Mrs. Wathsala Ranasinghearachchi, Assistant Divisional Secretary, Homagama, Mr. Damitha Wickramasinghe, Hon. Chairman, National Youth Services Council, Mrs. Dushanthi Hapugoda, Council Director, Mr. Hemantha Sri Lal, Council Director, Mr. Ishanka Chathuranga, Assistant Director, Council Director (Special Projects) Channa Gunaratne, Officers of the Special Projects Division, Sumith Galoluwa, Assistant Director, Colombo District, Mr. Neelsiri Kathriarachchi, Youth Services Officer and field officers of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat participated.
The blood donation camp was organized by the Homagama Divisional Secretariat under the leadership of Miss Darshika Wakishta, Youth Services Officer.
