Maha Season” Program in Polgasowita, Western Province, Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division, Homagama. Providing fruit plants for Samurdhi beneficiaries in the division Kahathuduwa Sri Sumana Pushpikarama Chief Incumbent Ven. Anapane Soratha Thero and Kahathuduwa Pradeshiya Sabha Member Mrs. W.M.S.D.D Menike Wijemanne and Homagama Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D Chinthaka officiated.
Indika Gunasena, Agriculture Consultant, Kahathuduwa conducted an awareness program on the quality of fruit seedlings.
The Divisional Secretary also symbolically planted fruit trees.
Headquarters Samurdhi Manager Mrs. Priyanthi Gunawardena, Homagama Project Manager Mr. Piyananda Saman Kumara, Polgasowita Samurdhi Manager Mrs. Sanjeewani Wewelwala, Kahathuduwa Grama Niladhari Mrs. Lalani Niranjala, Development Officer Ravindra Amaratunga, Regional Co-ordinator Field Samurdhi Development Officers of the Polgasowita Samurdhi Zone and Samurdhi beneficiaries participated in this event.
This program is implemented in 15 Grama Niladhari Divisions of Polgasowita Samurdhi Zone under the supervision of Mrs. Sanjeewani Wewelwala, Manager, Samurdhi Zone, in coordination with the Project Division, Homagama Samurdhi Community Based Banking Society under the guidance and direction of the Divisional Secretary, Homagama.
