Awareness on the program of Homagama Division under the 'Aharin Sapiri Kolomthotak' program implemented according to a concept of the Colombo District Secretary / Government Agent Pradeep Yasaratne with a view to overcoming the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka in the face of food crisis. The program Awareness and Progress Review Meeting was held on 21st June under the patronage of the District Secretary at the Auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat.
The District Secretary commented on the program and the Divisional Secretary explained the progress along with the cultivation plan of the division. Officers were briefed on the technicalities of cultivation by the District Director of Agriculture, Mr. S.M. Nagahawatte.
Mr. K.G.H Senaka P. Silva, District Planning Director, Mr. B.A.D Chinthaka, Divisional Secretary, Mr. B.S Kekulawala, Assistant Divisional Secretary, Mrs. Nilanka Sampath, Assistant Director (Planning) and other Government Institutions in Homagama Division. Officers and office bearers also participated in the program.
The program was organized by the Planning Division of the Divisional Secretariat.
