A craft training workshop for low-income women in Panagoda City and Panagoda West Domain of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held on September 4 in Panagoda City Domain.
Ms. Niroshani Ratninda, Chief Executive Officer of Lady Green Institute, contributed resources to this program under the coordination of Ms. Mangalika Vanasundara, Training and Research Officer of Rural Development Training and Research Institute.
The aim of this program was to raise the economic level of low-income women. Handicraft products have been purchased by Lady Green itself and expressed their agreement to empower women.
Panagoda West and Panagoda City Prosperity Development Officer Mrs. Sarojani Alvis organized this program.
