An awareness program about the urgent empowerment program of Grama Niladhari areas as centers for rural economic revival as well as the establishment of national food security was conducted under the chairmanship of the Divisional Secretary Mr. B. A. D. Chinthaka on September twelfth (12) in the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat.

Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. B.S. Kekulawala, Administrative Village Officer, Samurdhi Headquarters Manager and all village officials, development officers, Samurdhi Development Officers, government officials, office officials and field officers of the division participated in this program.
