The establishment of the regional committee on the urgent empowerment program and the establishment of national food security in Grama Niladhari areas as centers for rural economic revival was held on September twenty-one (21) in the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat under the chairmanship of the Divisional Secretary Mr. B. A. D. Chinthaka.
All the government officials of the division led by the Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. B.S Kekulawala and the officials of all the divisions attached to the Divisional Secretariat participated in this program.
The program was organized by the Planning Division including Ms. Nilanka Sampath, Assistant Director of Planning, Divisional Secretariat.
