National Plantation Day Environment Programme
2022.09.17 - 23 Rukropana Week / Homagama
In conjunction with the National Rukropana Day Environment Program, the Samurdhi Development Department launched the "Samurdhi Green Color Aswadduma Matrubhumi" environmental program from September 17 to 23 in conjunction with the Rukropana week.
- Under the patronage of Atigala Sri Sunandarama Buddhist Center President Venerable Panaluwe Rathanasara Thero, Homagama Divisional Secretary Mr. B.A.D Chinthaka, Assistant Divisional Secretary Mr. BS Kekulawala and Samurdhi Community Bank Association's social development, project assistant officers and Planting trees at the Atigala Buddhist center with the participation of the field government officer team and the community of Atigala village.
- With the participation of Mr. Piyananda Saman Kumara, Project Manager of Samurdhi Community Bank Association, Social Development, Project Assistant Officers and Samurdhi Development Officer of Mawatgama Village Officer, Village Officer and the community, planting of trees was also done at Mawatgama multi-purpose service square.
