The Homagama team won the men's championship in the recently held cricket tournament of the District Sports Tournament which was organized according to the concept of Colombo District Secretary / District Governor Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne.
Homagama team's Dinesh Kapuru as the best batsman and hero of the final match, Lahiru Tharaka as the best bowler and Gayan Hettiarachi as the hero of the tournament won trophies.
Homagama carrom team won runner-up in Disapati Cup carrom tournament and Homagama Ramesh Dilshan won as the best player.
It was possible to achieve these achievements due to the advice and guidance of Homagama Divisional Secretary Mr. B. A. D. Chinthaka.
