An awareness for the members of the Diyagama West Samurdhi Community Root Organization of Homagama Divisional Secretariat on "Local food that strengthens the body, protection from non-communicable diseases" was conducted on the seventh (7) at Diyagama Salavanodyanarama Viharasthana Hall with the contribution of the local Ayurvedic doctor Mrs. Mataji Dissanayake of Homagama Community Health Medical Unit.
The program was organized under the initiative of Diyagama West Samurdhi Development Officer Mrs. Himali Champika in coordination with the Samurdhi Social Development Division of the Divisional Secretariat and the local Ayurvedic Medical Development Officer.
Local Ayurvedic Medical Development Officer Mrs. G.V Nilanthi, Productivity Development Officer Mrs. Kamani Dias, Land Use Planning Officer Mrs. Rasika Damayanthi, Social Development Assistant Mrs. Chamila Jayatunga, Diyagama West Samurdhi Development Officer Mrs. Himali Champika and members of Samurdhi Praja Moola organization were present on this occasion.
