An awareness about drug prevention, child protection and violence against women was held at the Uduwana Supeshalarama temple for the members of the Samurdhi Praja Moola Organization of Uduwana Grama Niladhari Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division.
Child safety and violence against women were raised by Ms. Ajantha, Station Commander of Children and Women's Affairs Bureau of Homagama Police Station, and awareness was given about drug prevention by Mr. Anura Hemantha, Community Development Officer of Homagama Police Station.
Uduwana Samurdhi Development Officer Mrs. Nadika Pushpakumari organized this program and Uduwana Development Officer Mrs. Anupama also joined the event.
