A "psycho-counseling workshop for youth development" was held at the Walpita Community Hall on the 20th of November for the youth group of Homagama Walpita Grama Niladhari Division.
Counselors associated with the "Youth Development Forum" associated with the Office of the Commissioner of Prisons contributed resources to this program.
Officers of Youth Development Forum, Station Commander of Meegoda Police Chief Inspector Neville Priyantha and Police Constable Suranga Perera joined the occasion.
This program was conducted by the organization of Walpita Village Officer Mrs. A. W. Sandanayake and Honorary Chairman of Walpita Public Safety Committee Mr. Vijith Kumara and the coordination of the Community Police Unit of Meegoda Police.
