The Divisional Child Development Unit organized for the betterment of the children of Homagama Divisional Secretariat and to build a safer future for the children met on 16-12-2022 at the Divisional Secretariat Auditorium.
Here, children's education, health and nutrition, reduction of drug use and child sexual abuse have increased this year compared to other years, so programs expected to prevent it and to be implemented in 2023 were also planned.
The program was chaired by the Homagama Assistant Divisional Secretary and was attended by Divisional Police Officers, Director of Homagama Non-Formal Education Unit, Field Officers and Village Officers and Child Responsibility Promotion Officers of the Divisional Secretariat.
