The Homagama Divisional Secretariat's Elderly Corps won the second place in the group singing competition and the third place in the group dance competition held by the Western Province Social Services Department in conjunction with the Elderly Day celebration.
In order to achieve these achievements in performing arts, singing scholar Ms. Sujani Madhushika contributed generously for regular training activities. Also, choreographer Ms. Sumana Jayatunga and thinker Ms. Jayatunga provided great support for the dance competitions.
Under the guidance of the Divisional Secretary and the Assistant Divisional Secretary, the citizens were directed for this tournament by the organization and coordination of the social services department of the office.
