Based on the theme of "universal elderly rights for healthy adults from generation to generation", Homagama Divisional Secretariat Office and Homagama Divisional Elderly Council jointly organized the Elder's Day celebration, under the leadership of the District Secretary, was held on 2023-10-31 at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Auditorium.
Here, the event was colorful with the dance and singing elements that won the victory in the Western Provincial Senior Tournament and various artists selected from the Samurdhi Zone level.
Rewards were also given to the officials who trained those creations.Colombo District Secretary, chief guests and many citizens of Detu participated in this event.
Homagama, on the advice of the Divisional Secretary and the Assistant Divisional Secretary, this event was organized in coordination with the Social Services Division and the Elderly Board.
