The "Vishwabhinandana-2022/2023" artist appreciation ceremony organized by the Western Province Ministry of Culture and Arts was held on 22-11-2023 at the Western Province Beauty Resort.
Appreciate the brilliant skills and invaluable work done in the field of art, the aim of this program is to evaluate the artists scattered in the Western Province
This award ceremony held by Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne, Chief Secretary of Western Province under the leadership of Mr. Air Chief Marshal Roshan Gunathilaka, Governor of Western Province ,the Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Arts (WP) Mr. Sirisoma Lokuwithana and a number of dignitaries and guests, seven artists residing in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division were honored with the Vishwabhinandana Award.

- Veteran writer Mr. Jayaratne Ihala Kodippili.

- Veteran announcer Mr. Senaka Ubesinghe
- Chandani Renuka is an expert choreographer.
