Directing rural women to generate income through natural plant leaves, the series of programs to introduce alternative sources of income and organized in a new aspect, this program was held on 12-12-2023 at Palagama temple.
For this program which was carried out according to the concept of the Homagama Divisional Secretary, it was implemented as a practical training program targeting the women members of the women's organizations operating in the Palagama Grama Niladhari domain and its suburbs.
Mr. Rasika Siriwardena, Coordinating Officer of "Life Solution" Foundation and Mr. Manjula, Director of "Export Lanka" Institute provided resources for this program.
90 beneficiaries including officials of the respective division, Vanita Development Officer, Vanita Development Field Assistant participated in this program and this program was planned and supervised by Vanita Development Officer and Vanita Development Field Assistant. The organization of this program was done by the officials of Palagama Women's Work Organization.
