On the occasion of the completion of thirty (30) years of the Samurdhi movement, a program was held for the members of the Meegoda Samurdhi Community Based Organization on identifying harmful and beneficial plastics, polythene, proper management of plastic polythene, and health problems caused by the use of harmful plastics with the resource contribution of Mrs. Malika Peramuna Arachchi, Science and Technology Officer, on the self-employment training opportunities available through the Vidatha Resource Center with the resource contribution of Mr. Chaminda Samaramanne, Vidatha Field Coordinator,on how to effectively utilize self-employment loans obtained through Samurdhi Community Based Banks for income generation projects with the resource contribution of Mr. Shantha Jayasuriya, Project Manager, at the Meegoda Meditation Center Hall recently.
