The All-Night Pirithran Dhamma Discourse and Maha Sangha Dakshina on the subject of Thirty-Five Names, held to mark the completion of one year of the new four-storey building of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, was successfully held on 18th and 19th July 2025 at the new building premises of the Divisional Secretariat, with the preface of the Pinsith.
The Chief Incumbent of the Homagama Purana Viharaya, the Chief Sanghanayake of the Hewagam Korala in the Western Province, the Deputy Director of Education (Piriven) of the Ministry of Education, the Honorable Chairman of the Shasanaraksha Board of the Hewagam Korala, the Most Venerable Madowita Vajira Buddhi Thero, the Chief Incumbent of the Godagama Purana Viharaya, the Honorable Secretary of the Shasanaraksha Board of the Homagama Hewagam Korala, the Venerable Kotigala Nandarathana Thero, and the Maha Sangha led by the Maha Sangha proceeded to the Divisional Secretariat Office in a beautiful procession from the Homagama Sathipola Junction for the Pirith chanting.
The Honorable Chairman of the Homagama Regional Coordination Committee and Honorable Member of Parliament for the Colombo District, Mr. Aruna Panagoda, the Chairman of the Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha, Mr. Kasun Ratnayake, the political authority, Additional District Secretaries and other staff officers of the Colombo District Secretariat, Divisional Secretaries of the Divisional Secretariats of the Colombo District, Divisional Secretaries and other officers who had retired and transferred from the service of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat, the current Divisional Secretary of the office, Mr. B.A.D. Chinthaka, all staff and other officers, representatives of regional voluntary and civil organizations, the business community, media friends and the people of the area participated in this.
