With the aim of overcoming the food crisis in the face of the economic crisis that has arisen in Sri Lanka at present, the field observation of the plantations done in Homagama Division under the "Aharin Sapiri Colombothotak" program implemented according to the concept of the Colombo District Secretary / Governor Pradeep Yasaratne was carried out on July 19.
The cultivation places in Homagama Division which were observed by the District Secretary were
* Habarakada South Shailantayatana Ancient Temple
* Kekirideniya field which was harvested from other crops including paddy cultivation which had been fallow for 17 years in Panagoda West Domain.
* Megoda South Rainbow Preschool
* Pitipana City Koratua Plant Nursery
* Cultivation started in an empty land in Katuwana domain
* Dipangoda Junior College
* Brahmanagama Sadina Nursing Home
* Mattegoda East Salsewana Children's Home
In order to remember the field observation of the district secretary, vegetable and fruit plants are also planted in the respective places.
