An awareness program was held on 18.10.2022 at Homagama Divisional Secretariat Auditorium regarding remittance of money of expatriate workers according to correct methods. The resources for this are courtesy of the Bank of Ceylon.
In conjunction with this program, Dr., Psychiatrist Terence Athukorala gave a lecture on the theme "Let's recognize children's minds" to nearly a hundred guardians of children of migrant workers who are expected to go abroad.
Among the people who came here, a ballot was drawn and a gift was given and this program was organized by the Foreign Employment Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat.
