On October 16th as the theme of World Food Day, a local food and beverage preparation program titled "Promotion of Local Food and Beverages" was organized for the children and their parents of Dhammodaya and Shiny Star Preschools in Mawatgama Village on the last 19th (19th) Mawatgama. It was held at the Siddharamaya temple.
The program was organized under the coordination of Early Childhood Development Assistant Ms. P.A Chamari Lakmali and resource contribution was made by Homagama Ayurveda Community Health Medical Unit.
The Director (Development) of the Ministry of Local Ayurveda, Development Officer (Local Medicine) of the Divisional Secretariat and Mawatgama Development Officer participated in this.
