Based on the identified needs of the gardening project launched by Homagama North Women's Society and Leo Club, vegetable seed packets were distributed among women's society members on 30-10-2022 at Homagama North Women's Garden Premises.
Radish, lettuce, carrot, cabbage, fish, chili, tomato, and watermelon seeds were distributed here as a solution to the food crisis and with the aim of improving the garden crops.
The organization and coordination of this program was carried out by the Vanita Development Officer of the Divisional Secretariat.
