An awareness program was held on 10.11.2022 for the parents of the students of W.M Perera Junior College, Kahathuduwa, on 10.11.2022, to raise awareness about the responsibilities of parents regarding the safety of children and the importance of sending children to school despite the current economic crisis.
The organization and resourcefulness of this program was done by Mrs. B.V.S Tejanti, Child Rights Promotion Officer of Homagama Divisional Secretariat, and Kahathuduwa Police Station Officer A.H.K. Mr. Priyankara was also resourceful.
