2023-The Bakmaha Festival organized by the Homagama Divisional Secretariat in conjunction with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year was held on the 29th at Homagama Maha Vidyalaya Stadium.
Giving priority to the Hela culture, this Bakmaha festival was held bringing togetherness, brotherhood, unity and happiness in all the divisions of the Divisional Secretariat.
Colombo District Secretary / District Governor Mr. K.G Wijesiri led by the staff officers of the District Secretariat, Homagama and other government institutions and the officials of the institutions that contributed to the sponsorship participated in the New Year celebration.
On the advice and guidance of Homagama Divisional Secretary B.A.D. Chinthaka and Assistant Divisional Secretary B.S.Kekulavala, the officials of all departments of the office organized this year's event together.
