In order to maintain the quality of the Ayurvedic medical profession and to provide quality patient care, the training program for updating the knowledge of Ayurveda Sanrakshana Sabha doctors was held on 26-07-2023 at the auditorium of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat to represent Colombo district.
The program was organized by Homagama Divisional Secretariat under the direction of the Local Medicine Division of the Ministry of Health on the advice of the Regional Secretary, Mr. O.V Chandana Thilakaratne, Additional Secretary (Development) of the Local Medicine Division of the Ministry of Health, Assistant Director (Development) of the Local Medicine Division of the Ministry of Health Chamal. The inauguration was presided over by Mr. D. Thenuwara.
The Divisional Secretary, Assistant Divisional Secretary, Ayurveda Department, National Ayurveda Teaching Hospital, District Community Health Medical Unit, doctors and officials representing Colombo District Development Officers (local doctors) and many dignitaries participated in this event.
A large number of Ayurveda Sanrakshana Sabha doctors representing Colombo district participated in this program and a series of valuable lectures were also organized here to update their knowledge.
On the guidance of the Divisional Secretary, the Development Officer (Local Doctor) coordinated the program.
