The honorable "Kalabhushana" state award given to the artists who have made an immortal mark in the Sri Lankan art scene and rendered a great service to Hela art, was held on 10-11-2023 at the Maharagama Youth Service Council Youth Theater under the chairmanship of Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe.
Here, artists residing in Homagama Divisional Secretariat were honored with Sivdonaku Kalabhushan Honorary Award.
Writer Mr. S.V.P. Sirisena, Mrs. Hema Kuruppu, writer, Mr. Piyasiri Matarage and dancer Mr. Chandradasa Perera are the artists who have been honored.
Representing the Divisional Secretariat, Mr. Binupa Kekulawala, Assistant Divisional Secretary and Ms. Nalini Swarnalatha, Cultural Officer and members of the Cultural Authority participated in this event.
