The Art Festival of Children with Special Needs was organized to pave the way for the development of the artistic skills of children with special needs and to appreciate those skills.
Organized on the guidance of the Divisional Secretary, Mrs. K. N. Kaushalya Kumari, Additional District Secretary of Colombo, Mrs. Sevvandi Hettiarachchi, Director of Social Services of the Western Province, Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara, Medical Superintendent of Homagama Rohale, and many other dignitaries participated in this program.
Here, Mr. Upul Ranjith gave a special guest lecture and the festival was colorful with various dances, songs and costumes of children with special needs.
A large number of children with special needs and their parents participated in this event and prizes were awarded to the children in appreciation of their skills.
