The election of the women's work organization established in Ovitigama Grama Niladhari Division of Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held on 09.01.2024 at the community hall premises of that division.
It was decided to reorganize this organization in the coming month by creating a more active women's work organization in the village of Ovitigama, aiming at the well-being of women and the entire rural community through women's participation.
The Economic Development Officer, Agriculture Research Production Assistant of the division invited the participation of many key women for this event, and the coordination of the program was done by the Office Women's Development Officer and the Women's Development Field Assistant.
