The distribution of school equipment and books to selected low-income families by the Siddhamulla South Women's Work Organization established in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held on 08-02-2024 at the Siddhamulla Community Hall premises.
School equipment was given to 10 selected families and books were distributed to another 10 families.
Accordingly, according to the work plan of providing immediate relief to the families affected by the existing economic difficulties, Rs: 50,000/- school bags, official clothes and books were awarded to 20 beneficiary families.
Development Officers of Siddhamulla South, Siddhamulla North and Sangharama divisions, Family Health Service Officer, Agricultural Research Production Assistant, and Secretary of the Divisional Women's Power Board and invited members of main Women's Work Organization joined this event and this program was organized by Women's Work Organization officers.
These programs were planned and supervised by the Office Vanita Development Officer and Vanita Development Field Assistant.
