The Homagama Regional Literary Arts Festival-2024, which was organized by bringing literature to the community and evaluating those engaged in the fields of literature and art, was held at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat premises.
For this event, which was headed by Ms. Neeta Fernando and Miss Yashoda Wimaladharma, who are veteran performers, Sethawaka Divisional Secretary Mrs. K.S. Dilhani, Padukka Divisional Secretary Mr. Sugath Sisira Kumara, Ratmalana Divisional Secretary Mrs. Himali Karunaratne, Homagamara Divisional Secretary B.A.D. Mr. Chinthaka, Assistant Regional Secretary Mr. Chamal D. Thenuwara, Deputy Director (Planning) Nilanka N. Ms. Sampath, Accountant Mr. Pubudu Kuruppuachchi, Chief Government Officials, Farms Lanka President Clarence Mendis Maha, artists, winning literary creators, school students and many literary lovers participated in this event.

o To provide a platform for arts students to showcase their skills,
o Creating an interest in the use of art and literature
These were the intended positive objectives.
With the aim of poetry, art and entertainment, this year's literary lecture was conducted by expert writer Mr. Randika Kadawataarachchi, and making the festival more interesting, dances related to the lowland dance tradition of the local dance art were presented by the students of the art college and expert dancers and instrumentalists of the division.

On the guidance and supervision of the Divisional Secretary, the Homagama Divisional Literature Festival - 2024 was organized by the coordination of the Cultural Officer Mrs. Nalani Swarnalatha with the unity of the Department of Culture, the Divisional Cultural Force and the Office Culture Division.
