The "Nidasa Gee Udana" patriotic song program organized by the Cultural Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat in conjunction with the 77th National Independence Day was held on 2025-02-06 at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Auditorium.
Under the patronage of the Assistant Divisional Secretary of Homagama, Chamal D. Thenuwara, the Registrar of the Hewagam Korala Shasanarakshaka Balamandala, Venerable Kotigala Nanda Rathana Thero, students of art institutions, artists and a large group of people participated in this program.
For the "Freedom Song Udanaya", members of the Homagama Regional Cultural Council, students representing the Polgasowita Sinhala Music Research Art Institute, Godagama Swaranga Kalasewana and Panaluwa University Art Institute, students representing the Godagama Purana Viharastha Dhamma School, the Homagama Regional Women's Council Choir and the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Choir contributed to this occasion by singing songs.
This program was organized by the Cultural Division of the Office under the supervision of the Divisional Secretary with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Arts of the Western Province.
