A special program to raise awareness about non-communicable diseases for the members of the rural elders committees in the Homagama Divisional Secretariat Division was held recently at the Divisional Secretariat Office Auditorium.
A large number of beneficiaries participated in this program, and Ayurvedic Doctor Esmika Pathirana, representing the Homagama Ayurvedic Community Health Medical Unit, delivered the keynote address to the beneficiaries.
This program was organized and coordinated by the Social Services Division and the Indigenous Medicine Division of the office under the guidance and supervision of the Divisional Secretary.
