This program, organized with the aim of creating personal development through referral to counselling programs and drawing attention to the long-term physical, social and personal harm caused by drug use and addiction, was held at the Homagama Divisional Secretariat recently.
A number of community correction orderees of the Homagama Court participated in this.
The program, which was conducted under the guidance of the Divisional Secretary and with the resourcefulness of Mrs. Hansika Piyumali Mediwaka (Development Officer, Drug Prevention), was provided by the office's Community Correction Development Officers, Mrs. G.V.N.P. Jayaratne and Mrs. J.A.W. Jayasinghe.
