Organized by the Samurdhi Social Development Division of the Homagama Divisional Secretariat and coordinated by the Homagama Divisional and Zonal Education Office, the "Scholarship Practice Seminar" was held on 2025.08.01 at the Diyagama Junior College Hall for students appearing for the 2025 Fifth Grade Scholarship Examination.
The discussion of the Scholarship Practice Model Question Papers was conducted by Mr. J.P.R. Ashoka, the Chief Examiner of the Fifth Grade Scholarship Examination of Homagama Maha Vidyalaya.
Ms. Randika Rajapaksa, Director in charge of the Primary Division of the Homagama Zonal Education Office, Ms. S.E.P. Damayanthi, Principal of Diyagama Junior College and teachers in charge of Grade Five, Ms. P.S. Wewelwala, Manager of Samurdhi Bank Society, Mr. Buddhika Weerasekara, District Social Development Assistant, Ms. Kantika Hulatduwa, Samurdhi Social Development Assistant, joined this event.
The Samurdhi Social Development Division organized this program with the financial provisions of the Samurdhi Development Department under the advice and guidance of Mr. B.A.D. Chinthaka, Divisional Secretary, Homagama.
